gff6.exe
« on: July 25, 2010, 11:54:50 PM »
I noticed a problem of slow wireless connection after my installed anti-virus, McAfee Virus Scan Enterprise 8.7i, detected the virus file "GFF6.EXE" (W32/Sdbot.worm!je) from my Windows XP's system32 folder.
My wireless connection reduced speed ranging from 1 to 11Mbps only, very very slow compared to normal condition.
My antivirus detect the file "gff.exe" as virus, and then the svchost.exe error come up.
If I close the error box, the system hang and the only way i can do is to force power off.
I also used Trojan Remover with updated database. It can detect nothing.
Is there anyone who can share the information about this problem's source and how to cure.
Thanks.

PS: I can use only wireless, cannot test with wired network.
